About us
Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Ellie, Willow and Friends Dog Walking Services is my business. I am 21 years of age and I am a university student studying Criminology and Sociology but still live at home. For most of my life growing up we have had dogs as pets and I have a wealth of experience from puppy stage to senior and even rescue dogs. I love the outdoors, meeting new people and walking our dog Willow. I have a full UK driving licence and covered on my insurance for business purposes. I have liability insurance, DBS checked and will be undertaking a Pet First Aid course in the coming months. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies soon.
Hi I am Alison and I am Ellies mum. I am fully enhanced DBS checked and work locally. Throughout all of my life we have had dogs as pets from as long as I can remember (that is a long time). I have experience with dogs from the puppy stage right through to their senior years as well as training rescue dogs to like and trust humans. I am married and have three children (Ellie being one of them) and I also look forward to meeting you and your loved ones soon.
Willow's Story
Hi I'm Willow, I am a rescue dog who was adopted from Many Tears Animal Rescue in 2022. To say I liked humans was an overstatement as I was used for breeding purposes from the biggest puppy farm in Southern Ireland. Without Many Tears rescuing me I would not have found my forever home and loving family. When I came to live with Ellie and Alison they brought their two other dogs, my best friends Indy and Millie to meet me. I instantly fell in love with them, Indy especially was my 'adopted' mum. Millie was a little lady who was elderly and loved to snooze. Indy and Millie showed me that my new humans were not scary at all. I soon learnt to trust them, little by little until I allowed them to touch me. This started with a little tickle to my paw and me raising it every so slightly to say 'I'm starting to trust you'. My humans started with little touches and now, I just love ALL the cuddles that anyone will give to me. Sadly last year, my best buddy Indy was unwell. My family fought to save her but in the end nothing could be done. Five days before Indy, Millie passed away suddenly, she wasn't even unwell but my family believe she knew Indy was so poorly. I lost all my confidence and didnt enjoy my walks, or the many adventures I had been on or loved with Indy and my new family. My family let me go back to basics, waiting for me to heal and find some confidence again. I still loved all the cuddles but I didnt enjoy walking, I was on my own without my 'mum' by my side. Since then I have got used to the fact that I am an only dog but when I see dogs on my many woodland, beach and country park walks, I just want to go up to them and say 'hello' with my waggy tail. I have found my confidence again. I love people, dogs and anyone that wants to make a fuss of me. My family tell me I am such a 'lovely girl' and they give me cuddles and treats ALL the time. I truly am so very lucky to have found my forever home but I know that they think that they are the lucky ones as they have me. We wouldnt want it any other way. I would love to go on many walks, making new friends along the way and have that companion by my side 'just like the old days'. My family and I miss Indy and Millie but we have such lovely memories and lots of photos and videos of us being silly and playing. I have my own Instagram account which is willow.thecockapoo2 which you can check out just to see how I have grown since my time being with my family. I have already made a couple of friends and walk and play with regularly of which you can see on here (their owners gave permission to be models on this page hehe). They are Ollie, golden retriever puppy and Coco, another Cockapoo who also happens to be a rescue dog. I hope I get to meet you soon. I know we will have so much fun, I also need to share my treats with my 'new friends'.
